Does this mean it is again safe to buy a KenWhirlAid SS tall-tub and not get yibbles and bits?<br

Bottom rack

As you can see, just about every millimeter of space in the top rack had something occupying it. The bottom rack was pretty full too. And the load confounded me again, it wasn't all that severely dirty, just kinda average soil (for me). And lo & behold, the full load triggered the post wash purge to actually become a full rinse. Still don't see a pattern of when it does this and when it doesn't, although I do notice when the top rack is as full as it is with mugs and such, that does occur, along with the bottom being so full too.

I was in Sioux Falls, SD today on business and stopped at Maxwell Food Equipment to buy new glassware , coffee cups/saucers and some food storage containers. I loaded it all in the LG and set it for a Normal cycle. All the items were clean, except for a little dust. <br
The sensor caught that the load is basically clean and did one long wash and one long rinse. Total water used: 2.6 gallons! I happened to be in the kitchen when it stopped during what is normally the pre-wash to check turbidity. Then it fired up again and I heard the detergent door open--straight into the main wash with no water change. Brilliant!

Eugene, how long in time was that super abbreviated "Normal Wash? ( W-R sequence?)

I totally agree with you about the LG...it really is brilliant, and dead on accurate, the way that sensor works. Most Normal loads are W-R or W-R-R, in less than an hour (1:20 - 1:30 including the dry phase - just as long as the KitchenAid used to take!) Even cycles where the water is pretty dirty during that first wash moves right into the second wash without a water change, it just skims some water off the bottom of the sump. I have never been able to get the machine to run a full normal cycle once. And it hasn't needed it to get good results. <br
I managed to trick the door latch and get the machine open while it's running, just to see what it's doing in there. Not going to do that again without a cover. The upper spray arm sprayed water all over the kitchen. It's no slouch in the wash department<br

What amazes me is I am not using any jet dry at all. If I load the top rack correctly and heated dry, none of the mugs indentions have a drop of water. The only water that remains is in the ridges/seams of dispseable plastic (GladWare) containers. This drying is better than the GE's was.

Bobby, it looks like you take in dirty dishes from the neighbors! Ha! No one can load a dishwasher like you can!
Well Richie, I don't do that. They're all my daily accumulations. Todd has been known to comment, if the neighbors might start seeing their hub caps missing, they'll best be advised to come knock on the front door and ask for their clean hub caps back. lol I've got to do some cooking this weekend, I've pretty much run out of left overs. So, we'll see how much I drum up here.

This load again was so full, it triggered full 1st rinse instead of a purge.
New picture. Part of what I ran thorough with all the cooking I did last weekend.
