Have any of you ever made a Friendship cake? Can I ask what the hell is the point of going to all of that trouble and time just to create some lightly fermented canned fruit for a cake that's mostly Yellow Cake mix with pudding in the mix? I've tasted one and it was delicious but I challenge anyone to discern the difference between one of these that takes 60 days to make and one made with canned fruit, some wine and some brandy.
