What do you think about Frigidaire´s Affinity (Electrolux´s Eco Turbo) washers and dryers?

They are very good.They hold the best record in frequency of repair for front loaders and are made here in the U.S. not overseas.That means the parts are more readily available.I have had numerous models from Frigidaire(not the Affinities yet)that all worked great and are still in use at the homes I sold them to.The only set I had(which was my first) was made by them for Sears and only lasted 17 months!!The tub berrings in the washer took a shit and Sears quoted me $785 for the repair!!!!I reported this case to the B.B.B. and wound up getting the part free but had to pay them $200 for the labor.I sold that set to my neighbor and moved far away.After that, I got a GE Profile set and traded them for a KitcheAid Ensemble pair that a friend of mine bought without measuring their laundry closet.they turned out to be too deep to build in w/out being in the way of the closet door.They asked me what to do and I said I had the GE set and they would fit.she traided them for the GEs and still has them.When I moved here,my laundry room is set up where the pair faces each other and the doors because of the massive depth of the W/pools would hit each other,i sold them for $1200 and got the L.G.back control panel pair in white for $450!Those are awsome!!I realy like them and have had no problems at all.But they're made in South korea and parts and service are hard to find.

About LG, they are great washers, but here in Brazil they´re a marketing disaster.
1) Expensive. (I mean, they are reeeeeeeeeeally expensive compared to other models.)
2)Parts? why parts? Just dump the whole washer and buy a new one if something needs to be replaced. (or if you prefer, you can wait for 6 or 7 months, until parts arrive)
3) LG forgot to study our weather conditions BEFORE bringing the washer/dryers to Brazil... or maybe they should change it´s definition to "Washer/try-to-dry" or "Washer/steam cooker". After 3 or 4 hours tumbling, the clothes are...
... soaking wet!
4) Worst thing? The only HE detergent in Brazil (Ariel Eco-max) was launched only 2 months ago... and the most famous brand (Omo) works better if used as firefighting foam generator.
