I've got a customer with a 40" GM Frigidaire Custom Imperial Flair range with a problem. The right side oven (the bigger one) is not functioning. She switched elements with the other side and still nothing. Where are the likely places to look for a problem? I am thinking the switch or the thermostat. Would this one have a timer-controlled oven? What are the chances of a burned wire? Is there an internal fuse?

If you know anyone in Cincinnati who works on these, please let me know.
Also, what kind of parts availability issues am I going to be facing?

Let's save this one,
Dave

The timer is a good place to start - I can't tell you how many times I have bailed out friends and neighbours whose 'oven suddenly stopped working' because they moved the timer dial into position that knocked off the manual oven function!   The 55 Frigidaire range my folks owned had a dial with a very clear 'MAN' setting; not sure what a Flair might have, but have the person try moving the clock dial until you hear a click.  I hope this helps!!
