Hi all..
I have replaced the pump of my filter flo about 1 year ago, and the other one 3 yrs ago as it would leak from the vent...so it'd be the 3rd pump I replace in 4 years!
Last day while using the machine I have noticed a few streams of water coming from the two corners, it couldn't even end the rinse that the power went off (safety switch-water got in the motor)...
I moved the machine and noticed some sorts of black grease sprayed all over the cabinet, especially near the pump, that would leak always from the vent.
Looks like the lubricant of the pump have been sprayed.....along with the water....it din't make this thing with the old pumps....
But question is why i get broken pumps so quickly???? Are all the pumps I buy faulty or what?
Since I know the new pump will take awhile to arrive (especially now as we are around Christmas) I went to pick up a small replacement washer, to use for the moment....
It was the only used washer small/ thin enough to fit in the empty corner I have in the bathroom, yet the only used washer on sale that I knew used the water to wash unlike modern junks .....it's a front loader of course....a zerowatt...I wished to find something better....even because I got a lemon as it's pump is broken as well (can get it here in towns for 16 euros anyway, tomorrow gonna get it).
I have used this machine anyway in the weekend as I needed absolutely to wash.. letting her gravity drain in the shower..
I paid it 50 euros....I'd have never paid that money if I didn't need a washer ASAP.... (the servis it's already stored at the farm at first floor as I am starting moving the stuff... grr...."if only I knew I'd have kelpt it here"....)..but looking in the hovel the seller lived (it looked a kind of favelas house) and seing their evident bad economic conditons and that they were victim of a recent flood also, then I feel like I made some charity....so I don't mind of the money...machine is rusty, but beside the pump it works...
I am looking forwad to get the filter-flo running again......
