GE Harmony -- tub bearing replacement?

Has anyone attempted to replace the tub bearing in a GE Harmony washer? Mine is making noise. It has been for a while, but I recently noticed it's getting worse. Other than this, the machine has been problem free and my wife loves it, so when the bearing eventually fails, I'm considering trying to replace it myself. What am I getting myself into?

are these a rebadged LG washplate with direct drive BLDC motor?
