That is AWESOME. I remember Dan's adventures with his and these are beyond cool. I never heard, seen, or had any idea of these things until someone mentioned one or linked to an ebay auction on one last year. It's bizarre and cool.
As you may remember, I have a 1963 GE standard fridge that still runs insanely well (with flip over ice maker no less!!) and when we moved became our back house fridge. We bought it from a recycling center, and used it as our everyday fridge for 10 years, not one single problem, and it's still going along. I am a big fan of GE units.
That said, what year is that? I got my year by calling up GE and giving them the serial number. I can't believe these wall hanging units were made for more than a year or two.
My guess is 1961, but I have no idea. Dan, do you know the year on yours?
