A local chemical company, Wausau Chemical, has been in business for 55 years.  Just recently, I decided to give one of their laundry detergents a try.  Yesterday I had the day off, so I ordered a 40# bucket of the lemon detergent.  Haven't tried it yet, but will post my impressions when I do.  For now, here are some photos.

(Photo #4 says ¼ cup per 10-12lb load)

I love your beautiful state. For around 25 years I used to fly into Mitchell regularly because GE Medical had their headquarters in Waukesha. Mitchell was the only airport I ever flew from that had a used bookstore in the concourse!

Funny thing is that, way back in the 90's, that was the first time I ever went to a Fuddrucker's. Thereafter, I'd go there at least once when I was in Waukesha. It was several years later that I learned it was a Texas-based chain! They just didn't have any around me.

I love going to the zoo in Milwaukee, and that arboretum/aquarium where they have those three glass bio-domes.

Just a beautiful state, nice people.

I finally gave this detergent a try and I must say it did a great job.  I washed the bedsheets and Velux blanket from our guest bedroom this morning.  The sheets were only slightly soiled, but the blanket had some blood stains on from god knows who & what.  I used ½ cup detergent, one BIZ pod, and 1 cup of ammonia.  No heavy perfume scent leftover when removed from the dryer.

The detergent has a butter color, a very faint lemon scent, but a definite industrial chemical smell.  I feel that with already having the STPP in it makes it a good performer.  I'm not sorry I went out on a limb with such a large quantity.

Sorry I forgot to snap some pics during the wash cycle.
