Great old Sears Kenmore Roto-Rack DW in Burlingame, CA

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Those are very unique cycle buttons. I've nevfer seen a kenmore like this at all. It kind of reminds me of a lower-end version of the 220V LK Rotorack kevin got with the Bendix pair. I base that comment on the door handle plus the shallow blue rotorack.

1966 KM SIX HUNDRED DISHWASHER

This is the exact model KM DW we got in the fall of 1966 when my parents had Sears remodel our kitchen. The interior is identical to the 240 volt LKM DW that Kevin got a few months ago witch is way I decided to buy the machine from him, it just brought back so many memories. On this model the pink button gave you a 145F second wash and last rinse this machine is 120 volt with a 1000 watt heater Kevin's LKM has a 2800 watt element @ 230 volts. The LKM DW will not be put into ever day use but will be hooked up at the museum where people can see it work and even run dirty dishes through it.

What a beauty!
Does not seem to have seen much use.
The porcelain just shines like new from what I can tell by the pictures.
Cool find.

I really want that yellow toilet......

Yeah, it'll go so well with all those harvest gold Maytags you have stuffed in the bathroom for lack of room elsewhere...

Oh, that IS awesome. That's almost one of those rooms of gorgeous impracticality, like some of the laundry rooms you see on the promotional brochures.

What, you don't have exhibitionists in Iowa? :-D

Great for the "green" tree-hugging owner to save water.

"If it's yellow let it mellow; if it's brown flush it down."
No one will be able to tell if #1 has been performed.

"If it's yellow let it mellow; if it's brown flu

Wow, that comment conjured up a flash back from '86-'92 during the drought years here.
