Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Whirlpol Gold Microwave-convetion oven.

30 inches wide
Stainless- steel interior.
No turntable
Heavy duty rack, with plastic insulators, (to keep it way from the metal walls).

Convention settings:
Broil 450*F (with a preheat and a signal when hot).
Bake 350*F

"Combination" Settings
Bake- 350*F
Roast- 325*F

This is where the microwave and the convetion oven take turns every couple of minutes. (Ddo both at once).

Here it is with the back larger HALOGEN elemet engergized.
There are two tradional (ni-chrome?) elements in the center-of, and surrounding the halogen one.

The heat-control clicks into "fixed* (non-cycling) heats and it seems to be the old GE style connecting the various elements to 110 and/or 220 and changing connections of the "coils" within one element to be in parallel and in series with each-other.

There are, of course, heat limiting swithes to prevent the "glass" from melting, so in that respect, yes, both elements do cycle on and off.

Kitchen area overview.
See I DO have blue bowls.. LOL
Notice rounded corners and adobe style walls..

We won't even discuss the Jacuzzi tub that fits two and has two shower heads *AHEM*. (It is slightly visible on the left).

AH- a Whirlpool thin-twin 24 inch wide (60cm) stacked top-load washer and dryer.

Luckily it is the 220 volt version and as a result the dryer is fast (+/- one hour).

[Yes that is me in the mirror- moslty dressed!
Did you see my banana?]

Now no poking fun at my $1 detergent. It worked and I didn't get a rash.. LOL

Ok being the PITA virgo that I am here is a close-up so you can see the details of the controls.

Two speed washer. The washer shifts into slow speed during the last 6 minutes of the wash phase and the last few minutes of the rinse phase.

Two heats (three temps) in the dryer- one is "air-only".
Four cycles total on dryer:)

HI & LO heat automatic cycles (thermostatic, not electronic)
HI temp timed cycle.
NO hear air-only cycle
