I think the site is a great mix of people who love appliances and are emotionally more open than is the norm.
Lots of guys on this site are straight, most of the women are, too.
Except for a few folks in the UK who seem to think it is still 1945 and want to bash my German ass (but not in a good way) I've never encountered anything here but openess and a willingness to discuss, disagree and agree to disagree without rancour or getting personal.
And we all know that as opinionated old ladies go, I am, well, let's just say this is a great site and hope you feel welcome.
One tip from experience (my experience, my mistakes): Anything not directly, 100% connected to the thread on the Imperial forum is bound to get a few folks testy as hell. Deluxe is a bit more flexible but pretty much limited to on topic. Super is more a place to let it all hang out. I have a horrid tendency to drift off thread, but haven't woke up with a dead horse in bed, yet.
