Thanks Robert

For sharing Mn. Pride. It appears to have been a beautiful
Summer Day. It reminded me of my first Gay Pride Parade Day
down Polk Street in San Francisco in 1975. Later in the day
after the Parade my San Francisco Boy Friend introduced me to
Sylvester at California Hall! It was a Blast!!!!!!!!

crazy is an understatement!

According to the ABC7 Chicago news last night, Chicago's parade this year was the biggest ever...
I just love the dazed look on my face in those pictures, it shows how exhausted I was after the festivities yesterday...it was a fun day though!

oh child........... NYC's Gay Pride Parade is so off-the-wall, I rarely get there! *LOL*

Once, just once I want to see the gay doctors, lawyers, financial analysts, accountants, bankers, politicians etc. in their best professional *DRAG* ==> White shirt, blue suit red tie and black shoes. (or for the youngins a deep colored shirt). And perhaps the ladies in a skirt and blouse instead of overalls and a flannel shirt.

I just LOVE how the media film and record only the most bizarre marginal characters. LOL

Boy am I'm tired today!

Yay for more pictures! Thanks Louis and Fred. I would be so fun to experience pride in Holland as well as Chicago sometime. I can only imagine what Pride in Amsterdam would be like.

I have pictures from my very first pride, NYC 1982, (24 years ago, oy) I'll try to scan and post them sometime.

Eugene, maybe we passed each other yesterday and didn't even know it!

Robert,

Besides our national Gay Pride day on the last Saturday in June Amsterdam also has it's own Gay Pride in August with a Canal Parade as main event. Here's a picture.

Great Teacher

Jason,

Again, I bow at your feet as the Great Master Diviner. How in the world do you know EVERYTHING? You never cease to amaze with your knowledge of all things techical and vernacular.
If we ever play a trivia game, I want you on my team.
Jason, in your medical readings do you know if making the O ring too many times will cause the same wrinkles that smokers get?

I don't know LOL.

Minnie is such a clean city. So neat and tidy, nothing like what we got over here.

Thanks Jason, we love it. It's nice to get up in the morning and be able to say you love the place that you live in. 11 years now as a Minnesotan for me YAY.

Wonderful photos guys! Thank you for sharing. In Indiana we had three balloons or something.

LOL Frigilux, I couldn't begin to tell you how many people I've known or had some connection to that have lived in that building dating back to the late 70s. It's almost as if any gay man who's anybody in that city has lived in it at one time or another (grin).

I lived on Oak Grove Street!

In 1990-1991. It was an old building though. There was another old building across the street with a little grocery store on the ground floor. The Oak Grove Grocery, I think its name was. Hadn't thought about that in years.
