They were

Available here in the States in the 70s, were, I think, Wilkins Servis units from the UK changed for 115 v current.

Making it into a planter is, I guess, a bit better than sending it to the krusher, but......

Guy, I'd love to see a picture especially since yours do

do you have one, Man?

this is a first for me; didn't know SQ made a TT.

Louis that is a wonderful scan

I was especially curious as to which agitator the TT sported. I see it is the classic but later 4 vane. Do you have a date on this display; the wallpaper sure looks--what--70's ? Do you know when SQ introduced the 4 vane?

Thank You,

Michael

Servis Supertwin - Speed Queen Alliance

Someone needs to get it!!! Speed Queen had an alliance with Servis UK who produced the parts, washtub spin can pumps etc, these where all shipped to Speed Queen who made the outer cabinets to the same UK spec, adding motors and 110v wiring looms & switches, it was based on the 1970`s model Servis Supertwin MK70!!!!

Features a 6lb washtub & spinner, 210d arc agi with 69opms,2,800rpm spinner, UK model had 3KW heater, you could spin rinse in the spin can but this was done manually, these where known as the Rolls royce of twinnys..

Yes Louis, but Gosh what a save of famous pix by Mike

Recently whenever trying to view old albums, they're all gone, and now we see that Chestermikey has SAVED SUDS and spin rinses galore, with "Servis Queens" no less. It deserves a new thread, eh Louis. Go for it Mikey; the shots are fabulous !
