Decided to take a quick peak at the site before the monday morning blues of work set in, and I'm still sitting here 'gobsmacked' by what i'm reading. As a newish member of the site, I'm still getting used to the familiar names and obvious friendships that exist here, but nothing prepared me for this.

jmm63, I was incredibly touched by the candid and honest way in which you told your story, and amazed (but NOT surprised) by the outpouring of sympathy and support from your caring friends on the site. Each life story had a message in there for all to ponder, to empathise AND sympathise with. If it is true what they say about 'a problem shared...'then all I can say is that I hope you will begin to see some light at the end of that very long tunnel.

And to the rest of you I once again applaud the depth of your heart felt sincerity and humanity. It is truly humbling.

After dropping my ex off at the bus station exactly 6 months and 12 days ago...
My advice is this:
Hold your head high...You did nothing wrong. Don't do the what if I had thing.

Know in your heart that you were the best thing that ever happened to that man and it's truly his loss!

Don't ever let him know how badly he hurt you.

Have faith in the fact that God never closes one door without opening another.
