Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

:-D

Welcome to the Bay Area! You'll find plenty to fill the void that leaving the vintage washers behind has created for you. -- Thanks, Ralph! I love the "17 reasons why" sign. Was the eighteenth reason just so impossible to come-up with? :-P

Once you're settled, maybe the members from the Bay Area could meet. -- That sounds like a great idea, James! :-D I'll be keeping the same e-mail and everything, so we should keep in touch in the meantime!

Best of luck to you Nate! -- Thanks very much, Rick!

I hear there is a certain number of them there "gays" livin' there,... so it must be good. -- LOL Thanks, Erik, and yes, now there will be three more! Good Lawd! And no, I don't dis' the Corelle. I mean, you have to love dishes that don't break so long as you catch them before the second bounce on the floor :-) All my best to you for your move as well!

For the love of God---go to Castro for Halloween!!! -- LOL I sure will try! It sounds like it'll be a blast, wherever they choose to have it. If they have festivities in the Castro, then I can just walk down the street...

All the best in your move, and to your future! -- Thanks very much, Jeff! :-D

Yes, Darrel, I'll keep the same e-mail, and I'll have you know that I did the biggest load of rice-covered pots and pans in the Roto-Rack last night! I let it go through the entire dry cycle, and you cannot believe the satisfying little "twik!" sound a rice grain makes when you pry its death-grip loose from a glass in the top rack using your fingernail. As Greg noted, best-cleaning dishwasher in America! :-D

Was it a case of foreshadowing?

BTW, the Cadillac has just emerged from five separate "spa" sessions at the mechanic, and will be ready to take-on life in the big city. Thank goodness I can parallel park it!

Here's the cover to the 1981 sales brochure. Was it meant to be?
