Maytag Range

Bundtboy, I have read that you would like to have a Chambers gas range over your Maytag Dutch oven. What you have there is an excellent range there that you would miss if you ever replace it. What features of a Chambers gas range make it so appealing to you? The cooktop of a Maytag is easier to clean that a Chambers. You certainly have a better oven and more storage space in the side compartments.

Banana Butter Pecan cake

How did you accidentally get two bananas into your cake????

mixguy, I'm probably wrong to want a chambers OVER the maytag. I'd like one in addition to it some time, though, maybe only if I could have a green or red one.

The bananas didnt fall into the cake but happened to be a suggestion on the side of one box I tried, and then I tried it with the butter pecan cake and that was slammin' good.

Yesterday I did a carrot cake and will share it with you later today, what's left of it~!

it's gone now. This was thursday how it looked after band on Wednesday last week.

Plum cake

Today I made a wonderful plum cake with yeast dough.

I made the yeast dough yesterday in the evening, now it tastes a bit like alcohol

Cleaning the plums..

...a disabled one..

Agitating the dough again..

Then...

Put the dough on a baking-plate and add the plums without the stones onto the doughs, if you like, add a few hacked peanuts.

In the oven..

At 180° C for 35 minutes.
