Oh my god!
I've wanted this model for so long! It has a leak. But its to far for me to get it. This is a ledgendary model! Arrrgh r they always so far away

I would love a machine like that, unfortunately, even for me it's a bit too far. Also the leak is worring as it could be happening all over the motor.

1983

The attached pic is from a brochure in 1983. The fascia on the ebay machine is white so I think this is later. The logic range I think started about 87 so I would imagine this machine dates from 85-86.

Nice Hoover!

23 pounds and a "slight leak"...why not Seamus!! This could be a nice project. It certainly looks like a nice washer!! There may not be enough time, but perhaps you could e-mail the seller to find out where the leak is; tub seal as opposed to water underneath the washer.

I really would like this, but have to be realistic

I have no space in my flat, so it would have to live at work.

This would mean the Logic would have to go-as great as my boss is I realy cant push having more than one machine there.

Will do lol- I need to talk nicely to a friend and see if we can pick it up Sunday eve .

The hoses, door gasket, stat seals, pump etc are all still availiable for this- hopefully one of those will cure it!

P.s I did actually rescue one like in Robs brochure about a year ago but unfortunatly the main programme pcb was faulty. This part was still listed then, but was best part of £100!!!- its defiantly obsolete now tho!

Most things for old hoovers are still ready availiable thankfully. They must know how good they are

I bought a motor off a guy for my logic but it doesnt fit my machine. im proper p'd off the guy said he'd try and find me the right one. alas he's not got back to me...the pot luck of ebay as they say.

the computer control is such a nice looking machine. I always thought how you could top that classic hoover look? Throw in some flashy lights and hey presto

I'm still on the never ending search for a computer logic/ecologic. that would be a dream.

If i'm right i believe the computer control was one of very few hoovers that span inbetween each of the synthetic rinse cycles.

It makes you realise how old this machine actually is when you consider the kid demonstrating the child lock is prob 27-28 years old now lol!!!

I bet he hasnt still got that haircut pmpl!!

Computer Logics...

Ive never actually seen one but Rob has also posted a brochure with the Ecologic Computer Washer in . would presume its much the same!.

One major part for these machines is, unfortunatly obsolete and its one ive replaced quite a few of- the anti twist/suspension kit . I do know an ex Hoover engineer who has promised me a couple if he can find them lol!!

Really looking forward to getting this now :-D

OMG!!

Ive just looked at the Computer Washers control panel and it even has a diagram of the detergent drawer with lights to tell you what sections to use for each programme- how amazingly cool is that!!!!!
