Large capacity machines may seem good on the surface, but it's important to remember that just because it says it holds 8kg, 9kg etc doesn't mean you can actually fit that many clothes in. Suprisingly enough, they lie.
Also, many machines which claim to wash "9kg" do so by expecting you to cram the machine full to bursting then running endlessly long (3hour+) cycles. In this time you could have had 2 or more 6kg loads done in another machine, which would mean you're actually getting more washing done in a shorter length of time!
I'd say the best way to work out what is best for you is looking at the drum volumes and cycle lengths as a way of judging which machine will wash the most in the shortest amount of time.
Another consideration is do you really have enough washing to warrant a large capacity machine? A lot of people I know who have bought these machines simply don't have enough laundry to fill their machines, therefore end up either mixing colours and whites together (never a good idea) or washing smaller loads, therefore using more energy.
If you really do think a large capacity machine is the way to go for you, and you don't want to spend an absolute fortune, I'd personally go for a Bosch logixx or the 8kg Fagor. A Hotpoint Aqualtis would be a good choice, but I highly doubt you'd realistically be able to jam 9kg into it, maybe 7kg if you're lucky. Personally, I'd avoid Hoover/Candy like the plague, Beko wouldn't be such a bad choice though.
