when i have time and money, i'll be able to rebuild my kitchen and use this stove to channel my inner Paula Deen...2 sticks of butter anyone?.....

What a fantastic stove.  It will last you many many years.  Ana so will the Maytag washer and dryer.  You are one lucky man to have them.

Very nice!

That's sure a classy looking Hotpoint range; likely from about '61 - '64 or so. I remember seeing these for sale when we went to Swallen's when I was a kid. They were a big Hotpoint dealer in Cincinnati.

I saw an unusual Hotpoint range earlier in the week, that I'll tell about in another post when I get time.

Your range was part of a recent daily doctrine dsipenser for either 1960 or 1961 Hotpoint Ranges. I"m pretty sure I can explain a lot of the functions to you without the user manual, just email of interested with questions to my email address in my prtofile. Did you get any of the "accessories" which originally came with the range such as meat probe and rotissorie for roasting meats? [this post was last edited: 5/20/2012-15:22]

I can't quite tell from the photos....

But on my 40" version of this range, there's a flip-up guide the width of the backsplash on top of the control panel that explains all the controls and common settings. The design is such that even in the dark, the light on the backsplash shines up through the top for easy reading!

That is one pretty range!

Glad someone is tapping that Denver vintage market, my 57 Pink GE range is from Denver as well as my 74 Kenmore Roto-Rack dishwasher that was never unpacked.  I'll bet there's lots more to find out there - good luck and congrats on the houseful of turquoise!
