It is always neat to see the way things are made, thanks for posting this. As someone who has worked on thousands of DWs over the years you can really see how unserviceable these Bosch DWs are and with the amount of plastic parts used you can also see why they are an increasing fire hazard in homes. When they have problems with the main pump or heater area or almost any of the water carrying components we just pitch them in the recycling truck.
Don't know what brand it was-but on the "Classic Refuse Trucks" website there is a video of a plastic dishwasher being krushed in a side load trash truck-very crunchy!Mc Nelious body-Peterbuilt chassis.
These Bosch models don't have plastic floors, only the BOL models have that. The plastic on the side is a heat exchanger, which is a part Whirlpool doesn't have.
