For myself in a week, I will normally do a load of whites (towels, underwear and t shirts) altogether generally on cottosn 60, sometimes 40 if I forget to change the temperature, then 2 or 3 loads of clothes (whether they be darks or colours) on 30 or 40 degrees - whether its cottons or minimum iron depends both on my mood and if I'm using the dryer or not. Bedding I will change every week or two, they get the standard cottons 60 both for the duvet cover sheets and pillowcases as well as the mattress protectors, but again if I'm using the line I will sometimes use minimum iron 60. Jeans once a week usually on Denim or Cottons 40. Will use a colour detergent or whites/bio detergent accordingly to the colour of a load, very strict on colour care detergent though, have noticed how my stuff keeps it's colour whereas a lot of laundry my mum and sister wash in non bio has faded quite considerably. I would say for myself I do about an average of 5-6 loads a week.
I don't really keep track of what everyone else does - though my sister shoves everything in on minimum iron 40 with a fairy tab and about twice the dose of fabric softener (apparently she reacts to biological detegrents, a load of rubbish as non bio here is just a marketing scam, yet doesn't realise that its the fabric softener making her itch), whether its white dark sheets etc - it's safe to say their laundyr always smells and is never clean. Everybody else's laundry just gets done accordingly with no real set routine, then theres about 2 loads of towels a week, usually it's put on by whether the laundry basket is reached first by myself or my mum.
So with everybody's loads together in a week I suppose we must do about 15 a week, the washer is always on at least two times a day, very rare it's not on in a day!
