With our new church grouping of 6 parishes I found myself cooking in a different kitchen this week.
The one Parish in the group, their town has a very active ecumenical prayer group where all the different denominations meet monthly at different churches for prayer, and this week the youth are doing mission work doing yard work and small house repairs and such for the elderly in the community.

Tonight I worked with the parish in our group, St. Alphonsus to provide dinner for the kids.
The church was built in 1900, their kitchen had these vintage Magic Chef commercial gas ovens, they also had a 60” 6 burner with griddle double oven Garland range.

I had never seen commercial Magic Chef products before, then when we delivered the dinner across the street to Calvary Presbyterian their kitchen had the exact same Magic Chef ovens.

So, my question is, does anyone have an idea of the age of these Magic Chef ovens?

Probably 1950's

or early 60's at the latest. Anything after that would likely be a convection oven.
The fryer next to this oven looks quite new. Any other pics we could get of other machinery like the stove, coolers, prep equipment or dishmachine could help date this kitchen and these ovens. So would pics of the kitchen itself.
Myself and several other chefs here would like to know.

Nick,
I don’t have any more pics of the kitchen.
The equipment is all of varying ages, I just figured the ovens were very old.
The other equipment there are 3 gas fryers(didn’t pay attention to brand, 2 small ones were one brand, the slightly larger was a different brand), a Turbo Air double door fridge and a Turbo Air freezer.
I’m gonna day the fryers and refrigeration are less than 20 years old.

There is a Hobart Dish machine not sure the age
The 60” Garland gas rang I’d guess to be From the 60s
There is a 4 section electric steam table that’s built into counter top I’d guess from the 1990s
