and doing pretty well.
Thank you all!
Yes, I did have a heart attack, my second. My first one was in 2003.
They put in another stent, and said that the stent from 2003 was in good condition.
I have horrible genetics, all four grandparents, both parents had heart disease to one extent or another.
Also, with the diabetes...uncontrolleddiabetes can cause damage to the blood vessels in the heart. My diabetes was not under best control all the time.
My backdoor neighbour (multi family bldg), was looking in on Boris. He's fine.
I had excellent care, but the cutest of the nurses was today, Saturday. He had a nice voice.
One of the bad parts was having my chest hair ripped off with the telemetry patches. The truly worst part was yesterday after the catheterisation.. having to lie flat and still for over 6 hours. The arthritis in my lower back and right hip was more painful than the heart. However, they kept me nicely comfortable on heavy duty pain meds. Pain meds are good.
I'm home, and will be going through my emails
Thank you , thank you, thank you, and did I say
Thank you?
Love and laughter,
Lawrence/Maytagbear
(Today, October 13, would have been my Mother's 86th birthday, had she lived.)
I'm ok, just tired.
