Lawrence

Glad to hear you are home and feeling okay. Nothing like sleeping in your own bed. As a nurse i'm glad to hear your care was good but I would have shaved your chest just in the areas where the tele pads went. I'm mean, a bear still needs his coat!

Take Care! Marty

Re: Glad your home:

Please as others are mentioning, watch your Vitals or Diabetes, Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, etc and best of all, if you need help, try and locate a great Nurse, that will be able to meet all your needs.

Keep healing, feeling better and getting well real soon. I will also be saying a Prayer for you in Church and I've got you on a Prayer Circle at my new place of Worship here.

Peace, Blessings, Prayers and Hugs, Steve

Good to hear you're back home, Larry.

Try not to beat yourself up too much over the high blood sugar. With a family history of heart disease, it's not all your fault that you got sick. I assume you're on statins and you watch the diet. I have type 2 as well, and I noticed that when I cut trans fats from my diet my cholesterol readings got a LOT better. Extra virgin olive oil also helps keep the good cholesterol up.

It's weird, though. My own experience is that it seems to me that my diet and physical activity is consisten, but the blood sugar sometimes seems to have a mind of its own. I suppose there's a sound medical reason for it to fluctuate so much, and it's tough not to be subjective about things like diet and exercise, but it can be frustrating.

Welcome back.

Good to have you home again. Health issues are just a total bi!@h but it's better to age gracefully than not to age at all. Rest well, recover, and when you feel up to it go do some laundry.

Dave
