I keep a stainless steel rack in one of my sinks and figured that the sink would be easy to clean up from all of the mess of cooking these burgers. It was and the sink was easy to clean and rinse down. The burger, mixed vegetables and a baked potato made a great meal. Next time I make one, I am going to have the burger with the tomato, cucumber and onion relish that I keep in the refrigerator to have on the tilapia fillets. Yummy Yummy in the Tummy.

I learned from my mother how to avoid messes. When using her Sunbeam electric skillet, she put newspapers or kraft paper on the kitchen table for the browning of the meats and then when stuff was simmering, she threw away the papers that caught the splatters and moved the skillet to someplace else. I try to avoid making more messes than the standard issue ones I live with in the kitchen. Even without the compressing of the burgers in the Presto thing, they exude a lot of liquid when cooking. It's ok; just something that has to be accommodated.
