I saw this Maytag Set in a Thrift Store, the other day...

Irrc, I think these are well sought after. 

 



 

They've both been tested to confirm there working, and seem to be in great condition. The washer is $40 and I think the dryer is, too, but, I couldn't get over there to actually read the tag.. If anyone wants the details, PM me. It's in North Carolina.

Looks Like:

An A208 washer and a 606 dryer.

The washer's control panel will need repainting; there's a lot of Spray 'n Wash damage to the Sunglow gold-painted area.

These machines are not particularly rare. They are collectable, though, in my opinion. The great thing about Maytags from this era is that they are built like tanks and you can still get many of the parts needed for repairs quite easily.

1-speed washer....

i clicked the magnifying button on the picture & i noticed the washer has the "automatic" button & 3 water level buttons, making this a single speed, fabricmatic, standard capacity washer. so, would that make this an A108 instead??
