Some newer KA side by sides's have a problem with the wires running up into the door rubbing and fraying. You can replace the door $$$$$$ or splice them back together. matt

Yeah, the last tech out here said that if changing out the icemaker didn't fix things, it was time to contact KA/WP directly and get their opinion. I'll be going on record with them reporting this problem this week. I want them to have their own record of my direct complaint rather than having to dig up information from the service company.
