Hello again everybody!
Alas, my friends Whirlpool AWM328 got replaced after about 9 years of labour. A truly great machine. They ordered a new machine: An Indesit WIXE 127(I think!). Ok i thought. So they put it on a maintenance wash on prog 7 (Flash Clean @ 60c) as they had just got it. Although it didn't do a spin after the main wash and the second rinse wash rather short, it used alot of water which is good and it seemed to perform well. So i went round to visit them today and they had a load of washing. They load the detergent, load the clothes, close the door and press the power button. Nothing!
No lights or action. Narda. They try pressing it again, they move the selector knob, they press the buttons under the LCD display. Noting stil. Totally dead. It had only been used 3 times. The socket and fuse were fine. So back to Curry's it goes. I will update as soon as something happens.
I personally think it is a complete joke. £180 down the drain. Our Hotpoint is a year and a quarter old and barely and problems. A fantastic machine. I really thought this Indesit would be great too. Clearly not. A pathetic excuse at reliability i'm afraid.
There's my two pence worth. Any experiences with Indesit in the past? If so, i would love to hear them!
Thanks!
