Very Cool

Wish we had that styling over here. I wish you could still buy a top loader. Very nice dishwasher. Mike

A friend of mine while growing up had a top loading KitchenAid dishwasher. I going to try and visit him this week and see if they still have and ask them for it if they don't want it anymore.

Awesome does not do his collection justice.

I dont honestly think there is a suitable word to describe it really.

I will use the word stunning!

My faves of his are the Philco Cyclotrons that he owns - version W35 and W45.

Many of his vids are in my youtube favourites.

Oh Louis, thank you for pointing me to this interesting collection of videos. I want that Ignis Alice dishwasher for a widescreen dishwashing experience at home!

SANGIORGIO Superautomatic 5

Hi Paul,
the C13X series was one of the worst POS Candy ever made.
I had a C134 (the washer without baffles) and don't miss it at all. The glorious Candy Superautomatic 5 (the matching washer of the dryer in Bimatic's vids) was a miele in comparison of these POS

I wish my parents bought another Superautomatic 5, the Sangiorgio one. This was the only Italian washer built as a Miele. Maybe even better, I'd dare to say : outer tub seamed with a 50 bolts flange (as if it were a steam boiler) - automotive suspensions - weight 130 kg and dulcis in fundo 800 rpm in year 1964 . I remember I saw this gem @ one of my gran cousin's home when i was a kid

That Sangiorgio is absolutely wonderful. The door resembles the Miele door very much (as you can see in this video). The cycle selector and the timer behind a window remind me more of an older AEG. I noticed this machine has only 8 cycles, the AEG had a few more, for separate rinsing and for separate spinning too IIRC. The 800rpm are indeed rather impressive for that era, although some other expensive machines like my Hoover Keymatic and my mother's Bosch achieved a 700 something speed. I bet it was a very expensive machine at that time.

you're right Louis, Bimatic says it was more expensive than a Miele.
Other specs : hot & cold fill, clutch to achieve a progressive spin speed

Indeed I ignored the existence of IGNIS Alice dishwasher ... maybe Bimatic will find a windowed Constructa too :-)
