Well, I've just about gotten her completely cleaned up! She runs fabulously, all she needs as of right now is a new spin solenoid, I've yet to test the water valves though. So, for now, I just fill manually and engage spin vs. agitate manually. Here are some updated pics including the maiden wash load!

Well Done Junior!

Nice to see you've got your new baby spanking clean and near up and running.

For parts, check out the eBay seller "Swede". I've posted several of his Frigidaire parts auctions before, and he does seem to have a very wide and diverse stocklist. Maybe he has what you need.

Best of luck!

Oh my Jamie - the WO-65 looks just great. The pulsator column looks just MINT - a cap with no scratches, too cool for words. I also am curious on what product you used to get that new washer shine!

Thanks for sharing,

Ben

I used Bon Ami on the tub and agitator and I used some mild soap on the cabinet! It took hours and hours of scrubbing, 4 for the cabinet and 2.5 for the tub and agitator, however, the tub still has some staining and the agitator base isn't near done yet, but I couldn't wait to use it!!!

Jamie, it looks beautiful!! The hours of scrubbing certainly paid off.

Does the spin solenoid get power to it from the timer? Hopefully it will be a simple repair and you'll be automatic again in no time.

Congrats again - I'll bet you were just tingling all over when you heard that water slamming against the cabinet on the first spinout!

well done Jamie, you have every right to feel proud of what you have done there. It looks great.

Can you get a solenoid easily? Is it the same as any other machine, or do you have to get a special one for that machine?

Chris

Just a little jealous...

... that is so cool that you got run a washload through the Unimatic! I'm sure it was a blast! I have yet to wash with my Unimatic yet, although hopefully that will change soon.
