We had that exact Tappan range - but in white - when I was growing up. The upper warming tray and clock conked out fairly early on, but mom and dad must have had it for twenty years or so.

I have an old "Parlor Queen" (no kidding!) sweeper that looks a lot like the Bissell in the first post here. Interesting that sweepers like this are making a comeback with rechargeable motorized versions now.

It's been so long since I've polished a pair of shoes, I wouldn't even know if Shinola was still on the market. But that's a familiar saying. I wonder if it originated in the midwest since both of my parents were born and raised in the Chicago area.
