Ooh! A perfect replacement for the 2006 Kenmore rebadged Frigidaire piece-of-junk electric stove in my kitchen now. Kevin, if you're ever willing to part with any of your 30-inch stoves, please let me know. Thanks!

'fess up, Sharples! Where is that treasure trove you're checking out? I think I see a LadyK AND a Westy slant front peeking around the corners.

GE Airliner

Wow, that is very nice, and in the less common Woodtone Brown. My dad's aunt & uncle had this, only in white.

It's interesting that at that time, GE had ranges in 24", 36" and 39" widths, but no 30" model until the restyling in 1957.

If it were closer and I had the room, I might just go for it.

That woodtone GE is a beauty - but I'm trying to keep
mine to 30" models. Although, if this was sitting out on the curb (as a few of mine have been), it would be in the back of the van in a matter of seconds!

Kevin, I'll be glad to email the seller to give me directions and to ask him to put it out on the curb. then I'll make sure you take a trip out there to look at the wintery scenery. Voilla, a new stove in the back of your van.

That GE!!!

Is Beautiful, our local Habitat has a woodtone brown GE wall oven and cooktop, the cooktop is one that has pushbuttons in the exhaust hood, unfortunately nom nim wit cut the wires!! it is all there but what fun that would be!

Years ago, we picked up a mint condition double wall oven in woodtone brown. The top oven has the window door, meat thermometer and rotisserie. Each oven is the size of the master oven in a GE range and would hold two Bundt pans on a rack. I was going to use it for baking the pound cakes I sent home for mom to share with friends, but then my mom had to be moved up here and most of the friends are gone or almost gone so it sits on sabatical. Life is funny. As I typed that, I realized I am now as old as most of those people were when I started baking for them more than 35 years ago, but it was a hell of a 35 year period.
