I took half a day's vacation today to check out the warehouse. You all know that I used to be strictly Frigidaire. Then came along all those Maytags. Well now, my 1959 Lady Kenmore dryer has a new sister. This is what I brought home today.

Newly acquired 1961 Kenmore dryer and the 1959 Lady Kenmore dryer together. The 1961 is shorter as she has no legs.
Without a doubt, she does have one of the cleanest drums I've ever seen.

I couldn't get to open the door, so I don't know the year of this Kenmore Frog Eye dryer - it was really buried deep.

I had that brown kenmore washer once. It was white and needed a pulley installed. That was easy. That was 1982. Wow.

Rich, post 227402, the knob to the right of the timer, does that say speed control? Very nice finds. Glad you're starting to appreciate Kenmores.

Your stove is a high-backed Chambers model C. It is a really good stove, and I have heard nothing but good things about them. They are super-insulated and hold heat very well.

Yes Bob, it does. I'll get a close up shot tomorrow. But I think it has 4 speed combinations plus an automatic setting.
