There was a similar coppertone set in the scrapyard here a few months ago. Tried to save them, but they wanted waaaayyyy too much for'em, so off they went to Toyotaland....

I thought that was the Kenmore 800 model.
Your collection is great. I believe my next door neighbor had the Kenmore in Post 227402. They also had the matching dryer. I hope you've got more photos.

No, none of these are spoken for as of yet Graham. Mike took the gold 1972 Kenmore washer (from the other post) home today. We plugged it in here and once we replaced the burned out light bulb (common to *ALL* machines) everything worked fine on it. I also brought home another 1967 Maytag A806 to work on. Since nobody wants those, I'm giving them back to Rege to sell at his place. I can't keep everything and they're too nice to krush.

Hi Charles,
On the 1961 Kenmore, those appear to be buttons but are actually just decorations on the panel like you thought. Each one has a different letter A through K (minus the letter I) that corresponde to a letter on the dial. I'll be glad to get a close up shot for you of the timer dial this week. Thanks for asking.

My mother had an identical Kenmore 600-Series washer in Copper. I think that she used the Suds Saver once. Unfortunately, she didn't get an Automatic Dryer until a few years later (after I was born), so her dryer was the same brand and model, but it didn't match.
That always annoyed me while I was growing up.
I remember the measuring cup, and she also had a pink Kenmore Dryer Ball that you could fill with water.
