during the spin cycle.

It looks like the photo below (note that there are NO links in this post).

What should I look for when working on it?

Also, these models weigh about 225 lbs, much more than full size. Why do they weigh so much?

Thanks!

I guess with my bionic arm, I forget how much these weight as I have two of them, and lift them myself in and out of the Jeep taking them to events for show and tell...

Walmart is showing these machines from 1.0 cuft capacity at 43lbs...and the 1.7 at upwards of 77lbs....

also, if you don't add a link, an icon wont show up to check for one....

Thats not even the same model in the above pic. The one in the link is a completely different animal altogether. The one in the above pic is agitator based and the link one is impeller based. The washer in the Whirlpool version is LCE4332P and weighs a whopping 85 lbs and with water filled to High and clothes...max weight is 260 lbs total.
The above washer uses a rod and spring suspension system and it could be that one of the rods is out of the holder in one of the 4 corners. There are 4 rods in this washer. This washer is also called a "World Washer" since more than likely it had its birthplace in Brazil. Its also belt driven.

connect with us?....Mike, your so helpful, your one in a million, well, at least in this galaxy....

don't we all have to be on the same planet to connect?

those interstellar data rates are killer!

I wasn't clear: I haven't yet seen it in person. This evening, I'll look at it and post the model and serial number.

Thanks for your help thus far!

Wait a minute....you mean to say this is not your machine and that it belongs to someone else?! Your opening post suggested without saying that it was in your home, you owned it, and you were asking for advice to a problem YOU were having with said washer. Sometimes being a tad clearer might help.

Despite being level and having balanced loads, washer vibrates a lot during spin cycle. What should I look for to fix this?

Thanks

There are foud, one in each corner...

Simply unscrew the two HEX screws on the back of the control panel and lift it...

Disconnect the wiring harness plug and the pressure switch hose.

To replace the suspension rods, just lift the tub a little bit, grab the rod and spin it until it releases from the sleeve.

It's a lot easier if you replace one at a time. In 10 minutes tyou can replace them all and reassemble the top. it's very, very easy.

PS. wear gloves.
