Nothing NEW at all

They and many other have tried to get a foot hold in the hotel and hospital laundry for 8 or 10 years now.. Some did buy it. it worked for a short time and gives and causes untold of problems.. Dont know of any one that has had one in use for more than a year with anything GOOD to say about it.A lot of the mfgs. are pushing it on the new washers just a sign of the times.. Requires much higher water levels and a lot of maintaince almost need a full time maint. man.. (but if hes cute enough not a thing wrong with that)

I remember seeing articles in Laundry Today about the wonders of Ozone washing... a few years ago... but not much since. The article was a bit puzzling because it spoke of treating the post-rinse water... I guess if you're going to re-use it, ok, but who wants to re-use rinse water in the first place?

I also recall seeing a counter-top ozonated water generator at Costco about five or six years ago. It was pricey - about $150 - but it touted how ozonated water could kill all germs in a few seconds while a chlorine bleach solution would take 15 minutes to an hour to do the same. That product also had a short appearance in the stores - haven't seen it since.
