Just to put it into perspective, the rated load capacity on my Huebsch is 8 kg.

This is a 27" machine, it has a 3.3 cu.ft tub.

Now, if a machine built for light commercial use is built this way, what sort of compromises are being made in those 11/12 kg machines?
