Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

User Error...I think not.

Damn...no washer should do that if your are washing normal everyday items like a comforter.

LG scares me and I wont even consider their merchandise anymore.
It seems they try to get away with making the cheapest product out there with no regard to quality or safety.

Glad there wasn’t a gas line close by and that no one was hu

If you store papers, or a pizza box from the previous night in the oven and someone turns on the oven without looking the next day. Then who’s at fault for the fire? The person that put the paper/cardboard in the oven. The person that turn on the oven without looking in it. The manufacturer of the oven because it allowed the user to turn on the oven without opening the door (Maybe the oven should have had a lockout that causes the oven not to turn on until the door is opened. If a washing machine cycle has completed and the lid has not been opened then some washer models will not let the user start another cycle until the lid is lifted.)

People that don’t follow directions make everything more expensive for us all. I’m sure LG will replace the washer and dryer and the consumer will end up paying for it in the end. I wonder what the guy did to destroy his last washer.

Washing a heavy coat in a Direct Drive Kenmore/Whirlpool washer can destroy the lid switch when the washer spins. The washer gets so out of balance (No unbalance sensor) then the tub jumps up and knocks the lid switch off of its mount and breaks it. I’ve know 2 people that had this happen. One on a high end Kenmore computer touch model and the other on a stackable compact Whirlpool unit. Neither was coved by the manufacturer.

People that don’t follow directions scare me. I know a few people like this and nothing is ever their fault. Does anyone know anyone else like this?

WOW......I just seen the store toy display....that was cool as hell, I asked the salesman if the real one worked like that.....and he directed me toward the real one hooked up.....

This is Cabrio meets Calypso........great wash action teamed with the waterfalls from 5 locations.......

this is what I have been waiting for, vigorous water action plus enough water to saturate, and suds/waterfall recirculation....I loved it!!!....I was thinking Speed Queen TL, but this may change my mind......only issue that may affect that would be how well built and how long it will last.........

LG Waveforce

In the agitation phase of the wash or rinse cycle, does the basket itself oscilate or does the basket stay stationary and the impeller oscilate alone?
Regarding the self destructing Waveforce, in 50 years of obsessions with washing machines, I have never seen a machine bang itself apart. I've seen them walk and then eventually shut down on unbalance switch. MY LG front load won't even let it go into spin if it is not correcly balanced. How could that even happen?

Like GE Harmony

If the wash action is anything like the GE Harmony. And I believe it is similar but maybe a bit more aggressive. It will alternate phases of just impellar propulsion and the basket locking with the impellar and generating the 'wave force action'.
