He's right, there will be others. But I know it's hard to be patient sometimes.....lol. The same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago trying to buy a Kitchenaid KD-12. The person selling it said they never got my first email and it was sold by the time they got my second email. Very disappointing....

I know right. It is tough. It's hard for me too with no truck. have to kind of look for stuff within my city. And there hasn't been really anything yet. Seen a few free washers in Santa Barbara that didn't work and I wanted them. But we'll see. I don't have a problem paying for the washers.

Yea, it is tough. I was without transport for about a year at one point in my life. It sucks.... But, things get better and also you'll be surprised when something you're looking for turns up. And, it will. Funny, I had that Maytag set about 20 yrs ago. Wish now I'd kept them...lol.

Trucks aren't necessary for transporting washers and dryers.

I have a Dodge Grand Caravan, that is the long wheelbase version. With the seats removed I can fit two washers no problem and load without a helper. With the low floor you just tilt it back and slide them in.

Hauled a lot of other bulky stuff over the years as well. V8 engines, sofas, plywood and sheet rock, often regardless of the weather.
