Machine Washable Suit

Evening all,

My other half has a suit from Matalan he wears for work,and now the weather is getting warm he's asked me if i can wash if for him,

Can anyone recommend a Detergent and a cycle that won't ruin it,Ive never washed one before

does the tag say its machine washable? If so i would recommend Woolite. Its a detergent that is made for delicates. Hopefully they offer it where you are. Also, some garments will say dry clean only but can be washed on a gentle/hand wash cycle. Wash at your own risk if the tag says dry clean only. Not all dry clean only is forgiving when washed.

Neil, what is the washing instructions in the garments? Do uou have a true gentle cycle on your machine?

Sorry Neil..I would wash it on gentle cycle.so you have a soak on your machine, if so I would let it soak awhile than resume the wash, that way you can avoid excessive wear on tear...cheryl
