Started the electrical work in the "washer shed", which is now literally airtight and all sealed up. The problem I had to deal with was that some vacuums down there developed handle rust, because, even though it was insulated, it was unsealed, making anything stored down there prone to moisture damage. After sealing all the cracks and crevices I was finally able to move my entire collection, parts, and vacuums down with no problem. Now everything is all organized and clean, after a thorough vacuuming. The GE Portable, DD Kenmore and Maytag Dependable Care are down there, as well as a working Maytag Model N wringer I picked up at a garage sale for $35 (YAY! Works great but needs a few new parts as well as a paint job; luckily Lehman's has most of what I need in stock; will post more on this machine). So now, you ask, what does that leave in the laundry room?? Not the prettiest washer, but very FUN! See for yourselves...and by the way, I bought it at A-1 Used Appliances, the same place I bought the GE Portable from. I know the owner, and I told him to find me some GM-built, Norge, and Westy FL machines, something he sees a lot of. We'll see what happens...
