In December (thread #9522) you folks convinced me this leaky 1974 machine was worth fixing and then talked me through making the repairs. All went well. But now it is leaking again. But thanks to you, I knew how to open the front and top to see if I needed to tighten any of the clamps from December. All was well.

This is a new leak. Underneath. You can see in the picture. There are three bolts on the upper right side. The one in the middle is dripping. It's not a real clear shot, but you can see the drops. The bolt seems to be tight, but I'm not totally sure, I couldn't get a firm grip with my monkey wrench.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

not to bad

yea looks like a tub seal.. not to bad of a job. all the parts are still avail and just takes a little time to do the job just remember to also buy the spanner wrench.. personally i think the machine is worth the effort of saving

Chris and Coldspot, Thanks for commenting. But I really need more specifics here. How would I get to the faulty seal? From the bottom? From the top? You guys walked me through the December repair and that fix is fine. You've convinced me I can do this, but I'm afraid I need a little more guidance.

I believe it is accessed from the top, by pulling the inner tub, hence the need for the spanner wrench. Remove the agitator and you will see the tub nut underneath.
