These don't turn up all that often, so in spite of the high price ($59 with free shipping) I thought I'd go ahead and post it. Someone here may still want it,  you never know. If you have an older machine with a Bakelite agitator, like the 700 series or the 142, these make excellent replacements so that your rare original Bakelite agitator can have a rest. You can still bring it out for special occasions.

Actually that is the correct filter top for the A502. I run one of these these in my time-fill Highlander, the cheapest of the cheap, and with the 50 cycle kit, it has amazing wash action.

Those often go for less if you can wait. Some sellers think Maytag agitators are worth a lot of money. Others are more reasonable.

Jon - yes it will. It came from the transitional period in 1989 when they put the Orbital trans in the 12 series washers until the new series washers came out in 1990. It has the smaller base that the Power-Flex 12 does, but it would probably perform well in a standard cap machine.

Since its a three hole, it should. I just bought the regular blue three hole Powerfin. But the one you see right there is the orbital transmission. But of course im sure you could put this agitator on really ANY Maytag. I was going to buy this one too, but the top part doesnt come with it. So I got something different, I got the regular Powerfin agitator. And I was looking for the regular too but I didnt find it until a coupel days ago. I now own this one. Just waiting for it to come Friday in the mail.
