Maytag Washer Model A208

I have been blessed with inheriting a Maytag A208 washing machine in great condition. Would you be able to tell me when they were manufactured? Thank you.

If you post the entire serial# of your machine someone here will be able to tell you when your machine was made. The mfg. date is encoded in it.

I believe the A208 came on the scene in the late 1970's and was made for several years after that, but as washdaddy says, if you can provide the serial number, someone here will be able to tell you what year and month your machine was built.
