All I found at the sale I stopped at yesterday were 2 aluminum 9x13 cake pans w/ sliding covers, an aluminum 8x8 pan w/ sliding cover. 12 Christmas recipe booklets from our electric utility (WPS) 1960-1972. 5 general recipe booklets from 1972 again from WPS. A cookie recipe booklet published by Swift & Co. dated 8/62. 3 booklets promoting June Dairy Month 1970-71 from WISC-TV Madison, WI, WKBT-TV La Crosse, WI, WSAU-TV (now WSAW) Wausau, WI, and WBAY-TV Green Bay, WI. A 1953 Christmas recipe booklet used as a promo item by Employers Mutuals of Wausau, WI (now Wausau Insurance). And lastly, a cookbook published by our local chapter of the National Secretaries Assoc.
Just came home from the sale I was at yesterday with a beautiful antique parlor lamp. It is all original and has not been converted to electricity. It has a Royal brand burner. The newest patent date is 4/30/1895. I'm going to convert it, but will do it so that it can be easily converted back to oil if someone chooses to in the future. Was originally marked at $200, got it for $100 as they wanted to clear out all the remaining stuff.
