Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Such a beautiful set Jimmy with their console lights glowing. Where did you find this beauty and do you know any of its history? Thanks for sharing.

Jimmy,

I still can't get over you finding this dream machine. I am so very happy for you. As I've said in other posts, *EVERYONE* can find their dream machines with a little hard work and a lot of luck. But they are out there. I can't wait to see this in person.

Electric clock

I love the electric clock.
... Just think of it... with a clock on the unit you can time the drying cycle TO THE SECOND! While the darling hubby is asleep, you can set the dryer to dry clothes while you run out for a quick round of Canasta with the girls. If your hubby is a cheatin' man, you can set the dryer to dry a load of gasoline-soaked laundry while he slumbers away.

Oops / The clock is on the WASHER

My last post makes no sense as the clock is on the washer.
I've got nothing funny to say now.
Perhaps General-Time or Telechron had a big sale on clock mechs and the Norge engineers said "Hell, let's put a clock on that there washer!"
Did clock-happy Norge put clocks on other items of that period-like water-heaters or dehumidifiers?
Does the washer have a "snooze-bar"? (I can't unload the washer right now.. give me ten more minutes)

Hi Jimmy

I guess you got the washer a few years back, before i joined.

Did you take fantastic fotos also, of the washer then ; and if so, could you tell me where to find them.

I'd so love to know what it says on the clock, and to see the agitator.

Never seen control panels so high on a washer/dryer. Lit up at night, it looks like an older huge stove, so way up and all clocked. Beautiful !
