Too bad the DuPont "Tontine" shades are not available anymore-liked these BETTER over the new window coverings sold today.Most are UGLY JUNK!!!And---CATCH DUST!!!Blinds----into the dumpster!!!!
 
the nitrocellulose coumpound would make the fabric flammable!!But those shades sure looked nice and worked well!Remember these were sold well into the 70's!Beleive there was a change to a vinyl based fabric treatment after that-the replacement was good,too!
