more LG problems ???

A friend of mine bought an LG combo W/D a couple years ago and is now having his first problems with it, not spinning at all, he thinks the belt is broken ?? I told him I thought it was a "direct-drive" machine ? but nonetheless, I am so glad I talked him into buying the "extended warranty" to give him 100% coverage. I also notice or have noticed that LG is NOT sold in any of the LOWE's stores near me .......... yet Home Depot sells them and Home Depot in general does not have near the selection/choice that Lowe's has ........ a bit ironic.

Hi Greg,
After my experience(S) with LG I would never again purchase anything from them. They are the worst on earth. I hope your friend will get decent service. That was my biggest problem. And Lowes does not carry LG at all. Their speciality is Samsung.

Hope you have better luck that I have had with service the two machines I have have been a total service nightmare . Extenede warranty does not help when their is no sevice at all.

I feel bad for you guys

wish I could relate to the issues with your LG Service. I fortunately had to call them only one time and the service was outstanding. maybe it is a regional problem.?
