I am interested BUT !!!!!

Yes I am interested BIG time. If I could have it delivered great.> BUT shipping is ?? not even sure how to go about it (never have) and the cost. I would pay $200.00 for the machine (want it and love it) but suspect it will cost double that to have it shipped. AS much as I want one $600.00 is just out of my mind . This dishwasher is 3/4 way across this country. Have been praying to the dishwasher gods. It could happen. If anyone has any ideas that will help me in this crisis, PLEASE let me know. Michael

a thought..

Have we any members in Vancouver? I'm afraid my knowledge of Canadian geography is poor. At any rate, if there's a member nearby, I'm sure they would help out, that's what I love about this community!

Well, there could be a cooperative way to do this. Someone who wants it could let that be known and a club member who lives not too far might arrange a trip to include picking it up, for some compensation. If it could be stored for a time, someone else might be able to transport it a bit further, again for compensation. Perhaps some links of the trip could be made by two people who could arrange to meet at a midpoint. We have done that in years past. The best bet would be for someone on the West coast to buy it.

The seller should be glad it is not a real 56 with the Bakelite impeller. Those are good for little more than display with values not near that of this one.

Be careful, Mike, when you volunteer to pay a large amount and then think it will ONLY be double that to transport it. We paid over $600 to have a machine trucked across the country by a reputable carrier. People here can help you with transportation contacts, but unless you can arrange for rail freight in Canada, and maybe even using that mode, it is going to be expensive.

Shipping just one item within Canada is as near to impossible as you can get - there are no companies like You-Crate or MicroShip who operate up here.   BUT there may be a moving company who might be willing to take this one and I have successfully had a MobileMaid shipped by UPS (but that was in the US), but it can't hurt to ask!
