Here is the Atlas in all her glory. Got it all polished up with the tools I have on hand. Still needs a bit of detailing.

My oh my was this thing dirty. But she shines now! Hands down one of the prettiest vacuum cleaners ever made.

There is a shakeout like bag with foam filter in the base, but Ill stick a tristar bag inside for better filtration.

Did I mention this is a BIG VACUUM? Lol. I will have to put it next to my tristar to compare, but this puppy is pretty large!

You hit the jackpot with that one for sure, it is almost an icon in '50s collectables, like the '57 Chevy you mentioned, '59 Cadillac, Philco Predicta television, Hoover Constellation, and I know there are more. That's the prettiest shade of red too, and it's great all the trimwork is still on it!
